Ricardo Chan is a fourth generation
attorney who took his undergraduate in Psychology from Ateneo De
Manila University in 2000, and obtained his law degree at the
University of the Philippines College of Law in 2005. A member of
the Philippine Bar since 2006, Rocky began his practice at Angara
Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz (ACCRALAW), one of the largest
law firms in the Philippines, as a member of the Labor and
Employment Department.
At ACCRALAW, he immersed in the practice of Philippine Labor Law, handling labor litigation before the National Labor Relations Commission, began appellate practice before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, took part in collective bargaining and other union disputes, and handled several due diligence projects on the labor aspect in preparation for the initial public offering of large multinational company.
In 2007, he continued his practice as litigation associate with Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Offices, an established firm with roots from as far back as the early 1900's. It is there that he honed his litigation and labor practice and was introduced to the intricacies of corporate practice, taking part in several corporate projects, drafted numerous opinions on a variety of legal questions, and dealt with large multinational clients.
